The meeting was chaired by the President of both TAGHI and APACPH, Prof Dr Hung-Yi Chiou and attended by 15 Executive Council members and Secretariat representatives. The Council reviewed key organisational updates, including officers’ reports, regional and network activities, and updates from the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health.
A key agenda item focused on conference matters, during which the host institution for the 57th APACPH Conference 2026, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, presented a progress update on conference planning and preparations. The Executive Council noted the updates and provided guidance to support ongoing preparations. Discussions also included preliminary planning for future APACPH conferences and a review of conference host selection guidelines.
